What better time to have a conversation about marriage equality than Pride Month?
We’ve made some big strides as a nation. Same-sex marriage is now legal in 19 states and the District of Columbia, and the United States Supreme Court ruled in June of last year that a federal ban on same-sex marriages is unconstitutional.
But there is still much work to be done.
State laws banning same-sex marriage are losing traction across the country. Together, we can continue to fight discrimination and bring equality to the rest of Americans.
